The Windy City ThunderBolts (16-24) beat the Normal CornBelters (21-18) 6-2 in seven innings on Thursday at Standard Bank Stadium behind Evan Button, who went 1-2.

Jessie Snodgrass brought the heat against the Normal CornBelters during his outing. Snodgrass gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Jason Kafka improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He allowed two runs over 2 1/3 innings. Kafka struck out two, walked one and gave up four hits.

Cullen Babin was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
