Tommy Beritzhoff went 2-4 as the California Warriors (10-7) took home a 5-1 victory over the Alameda Merchants (6-8) on Wednesday.
He singled in the fifth inning and tripled in the ninth inning.The Alameda Merchants couldn't get anything going so long as Thomas Petersen was on the hill. The Alameda Merchants managed just one hit off of Petersen, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out three during his three innings of work.
Brandon Facha (1-1) took the loss for the Alameda Merchants. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
