Moore helps the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets down the Swift Current Indians 5-4

Jake Moore went 2-4, sparking the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets (5-9) to a 5-4 victory over the Swift Current Indians (6-8) on Monday at Mitchell Field.

He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the eighth inning.

The Swift Current Indians were led by Justin Lee's hitting. Lee went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

Marc-Andre Habeck handled the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets' lineup with ease, racking up eight strikeouts. Habeck allowed three earned runs on seven hits and no walks over eight innings.

Ross Mortenson improved to 1-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Zach Manley was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
