Nick McGrew had two extra base hits, helping the San Francisco Seagulls (5-7) to a 9-4 victory over the Alameda Merchants (6-8) on Thursday at College of Alameda.

Zack Kamerman had an impressive outing against the Alameda Merchants' lineup. The Alameda Merchants managed just two hits off of the the San Francisco Seagulls' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out five during his four innings of work.

Jordan Talbot got the win, running his season record to 1-2. He allowed four runs over five innings. Talbot struck out seven, walked two and gave up six hits.

Ricky Delgado (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out six, and allowed five runs.

Shadi Azar, Mike Simonini, McGrew and Troy Dixon helped lead the San Francisco Seagulls. They combined for nine hits and eight RBIs.
