The Alameda Merchants (3-2) rolled over the Central Valley Bears 11-1 on Wednesday at COA after a six-run rally in the eighth inning.

The Alameda Merchants scored in the eighth on an RBI single by Phil Clark, an RBI single by JR Davis, an error, and a three-run single by Michael Echavia.

The Central Valley Bears had the lead early, but couldn't hold off the Alameda Merchants. The Central Valley Bears led until the fifth inning, but the Alameda Merchants took the lead back on a two-run double by Davis.

Dominic Morbidelli racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Alameda Merchants.

Daniel Reitzler pitched lights out for the Alameda Merchants. The Central Valley Bears managed just one hit off of the the Alameda Merchants' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his two innings of work.

Brandon Facha got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed one run over six innings. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered five hits.

Gonzales took the loss for the Central Valley Bears. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
