The White Sands Pupfish (3-6) didn't stand a chance on Sunday, as the Douglas Diablos (5-5) captured a blowout 11-4 win.

An RBI single by Corben Green and a three-run double by Yermin Mercedes helped the Douglas Diablos score four runs in the third. The Douglas Diablos had four hits in the inning.

Mercedes racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Douglas Diablos.

Edison Alvarez got the win for the Douglas Diablos thanks to eight strikeouts. Alvarez allowed three earned runs on seven hits and one walk over nine innings.

Preston Lyon racked up three RBIs on two hits for the White Sands Pupfish. He homered in the second inning and doubled in the eighth inning.

Mike Ormseth (1-2) took the loss for the White Sands Pupfish. He allowed eight runs in four innings, walked one and struck out three.
