Third-inning rally sparks blowout win for the Alpine Cowboys, 11-5

The Alpine Cowboys (22-9) blew out the Las Vegas Train Robbers 11-5 on Tuesday at Del Rio, TX after pouring on six runs in the third inning.

The Alpine Cowboys scored in the third on an RBI double by Corey Caswell, an RBI single by Pat Lemmo, a wild pitch, a wild pitch, a sacrifice fly by Brian Milliman, and a sacrifice fly by Milliman.

Milliman racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Alpine Cowboys.

Gary Owens racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Las Vegas Train Robbers (9-17). He doubled in the second inning and homered in the seventh inning.

The Alpine Cowboys had no answer for Justin Bare, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Bare held the Alpine Cowboys hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Corey Delghan (2-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 10 runs in two innings, walked three and struck out two.
