The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (7-11) outlasted the Worcester Bravehearts (14-5) at Doyle Field 8-7 on Wednesday after 10 innings.

With the score tied at seven in the tenth inning,, scoring Joe Breen.

Richard Fecteau racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He homered in the first inning and singled in the second inning.

Jon Silva pitched lights out for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. Silva held the Worcester Bravehearts hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Ryan Venditti improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered one hit.

Chris Dious (1-1) took the loss for the Worcester Bravehearts. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
