The SW Oregon (11-10) and the Clackamas (4-8) both threatened with rallies, but it was the SW Oregon that eventually took advantage of them in a 5-4 win at Clackamas Community College Bas.

The fact that the SW Oregon grouped all of their runs into the fifth inning helped them take advantage of their hits.

Hunter Combs racked up two RBIs on two hits for the SW Oregon. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the seventh inning.

The Clackamas had no answer for Jordan Farley, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Clackamas managed just one hit off of Farley, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

It was a good day at the plate for the Clackamas' Skyler Barkdull. Barkdull went 2-2, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the third inning.

Mitchel Daugherty got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed four runs over five innings. Daugherty struck out three, walked three and gave up eight hits.

Josh Biel couldn't get it done on the bump for the Clackamas, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
