Friday was a great day for CJ Epperson, as he clubbed two home runs to carry the Raton Osos (20-32) to a 10-6 victory over the Las Vegas Train Robbers (15-38) at Gabriele Field.

The Raton Osos got their bats going early, scoring four runs in the first inning to pull ahead of the Las Vegas Train Robbers.

Nick Oddo had two extra-base hits for the Las Vegas Train Robbers. He homered in the third inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Kellen Quintana got his sixth win for the Raton Osos despite allowing six runs over seven innings. Quintana struck out five, walked none and gave up 12 hits.

Eric Cordova (1-3) took the loss for the Las Vegas Train Robbers. He allowed 10 runs in six innings, walked two and struck out four.

The Raton Osos were sparked by Epperson and Cie Arell, who teamed up for five hits and six RBIs.
