He singled in the first, third, and seventh innings.Tyler Garkow's 11 strikeouts were enough to push the Roswell Invaders past the White Sands Pupfish. Garkow allowed one earned run on eight hits and three walks over seven innings.
The White Sands Pupfish were led by Yermin Mercedes's hitting. Mercedes went 4-5. He singled in the first, fifth, seventh, and ninth innings.
Matt Cook was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
