The Raton Osos (23-39) jumped on the Taos Blizzard (22-41) early on their way to a 6-3 win on Sunday at Gabriele Park in six innings, scoring five runs in the first inning.

The Raton Osos scored in the first on an RBI single by Mitch Warne, an error, a groundout by Zach Kreeger, and a two-run single by Thomas Barksdale.

Cie Arell had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the first innings, doubled in the second inning, and homered in the fifth inning.

Kellen Quintana recorded his sixth win of the year for the Raton Osos. He allowed three runs over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out seven, walked one and surrendered eight hits.

Andrew Bruder couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Taos Blizzard, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked two and struck out two.
