The Roswell Invaders (14-6) and the Santa Fe Fuego (14-5) both had scoring chances on Sunday, but it was the Roswell Invaders that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 4-2 win at Joe Bauman Park.

Sam Montgomery racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Roswell Invaders. He singled in the first and sixth innings.

Charlie McCready brought the heat against the Roswell Invaders during his outing. The Roswell Invaders managed just one hit off of the the Santa Fe Fuego's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Alex Teal (2-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
