The Roswell Invaders (7-4) had a tough outing on Saturday, as the Santa Fe Fuego (8-2) dominated in an 8-2 win at Joe Bauman Park.

The Santa Fe Fuego scored two runs in the eighth on an RBI single by Aaron Carman and an error.

Chevas Numata racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Santa Fe Fuego. He singled in the fifth and eighth innings.

Josh Downing picked up the win for the Santa Fe Fuego. Downing allowed two earned runs, six hits and one walk while striking out five over eight innings of work.

Despite the loss, the Roswell Invaders' Dave Gibson dominated the Santa Fe Fuego's batters, giving up two runs and striking out five.

Ernie Zaragoza couldn't get it done on the bump for the Roswell Invaders, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
