The Skagit Valley (6-10) and the Douglas (3-8) each put runners in scoring position on Tuesday, but the Skagit Valley capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 5-2 win at Whalley Little League Park .

SHANE SERVOSS was hot from the plate for the Skagit Valley. SERVOSS went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the fifth inning.

PETER BOVENKAMP picked up the win for the Skagit Valley. BOVENKAMP allowed one earned run, six hits and two walks while striking out one over seven innings of work.

Jackson Temple had two extra-base hits for the Douglas. He doubled in the second and seventh innings.

Jack Bale couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Douglas, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
