The Pierce (20-10) jumped on the Centralia (9-23) early on their way to a 7-4 win on Sunday at Mt Tahoma High School , scoring three runs in the first inning.

Leo Valenti reached base four times. He singled in the first and second innings.

Cobi Beal improved to 4-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Pierce. He allowed four runs over seven innings. He struck out four, walked none and surrendered 11 hits.

Derek Putman (0-4) took the loss for the Centralia. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
