The Solano Mudcats took home a marathon 6-4 victory over the Healdsburg Prune Packers (33-16) on Saturday at Recreation Park.

With the score tied at four, Brandon Forney came to the plate and doubled, bringing home N Spini and M Foley.

Spini had three extra-base hits for the Solano Mudcats. He singled in the first inning, tripled in the seventh inning, and doubled in the third and tenth innings.

Hedrick improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Solano Mudcats. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered three hits.

Kurtis Sargent ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
