A magnificent effort by Connor Worthington carried the California Expos to a 5-0 win over the Atwater Aviators (18-29) on Tuesday at Fireman's Memorial Ballpark.

The Atwater Aviators' lineup had no answer for Worthington. Worthington held the Atwater Aviators hitless over six innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out nine.

Christian Funk paced the California Expos at the plate. Funk went 2-4 and scored two runs. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the sixth innings.

Michael Garcia was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
