John Bormann went 1-3, sparking the Wareham Gatemen (13-25) to a 3-2 victory over the Harwich Mariners (22-15) on Tuesday at Spillane Field.

The Wareham Gatemen relied on Liam OSullivan to eat up innings en route to the win. OSullivan pitched eight innings and allowed two earned runs, five hits and two walks while striking out three.

Ian Happ racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Harwich Mariners. He tripled in the sixth inning and singled in the fourth and ninth innings.

Seth McGarry had an impressive outing against the Wareham Gatemen's lineup. McGarry held the Wareham Gatemen hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.

Zack Erwin (2-2) took the loss for the Harwich Mariners. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out eight, and allowed three runs.
