The Hyannis Harbor Hawks take out the Bourne Braves with help from Kihle, 8-7

Daniel Kihle had two extra base hits as the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (17-21) took home an 8-7 victory over the Bourne Braves (23-14) at McKeon Park on Saturday.

He homered in the first inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

The Bourne Braves' lineup had no answer for Tate Scioneaux. The Bourne Braves managed just two hits off of Scioneaux, who allowed two earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his seven innings of work.

Zander Wiel racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Bourne Braves. He homered in the eighth innings.

Lance Thonvold got his first win for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks despite allowing five runs over two innings. Thonvold struck out two, walked none and gave up five hits.

John Gorman was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.

The Hyannis Harbor Hawks were sparked by Kihle and Donnie Dewees Jr., who teamed up for three hits and four RBIs.
