Angelo Amendolare went 2-3, helping the Harwich Mariners (19-11) to a 4-1 victory over the Cotuit Kettleers (14-17) on Saturday at Whitehouse Field.
He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.The Harwich Mariners relied on Michael Boyle to eat up innings en route to the win. Boyle allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks while striking out three over seven innings of work.
Logan Taylor was solid at the plate for the Cotuit Kettleers. Taylor went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the sixth inning.
Sean Beckman (0-1) took the loss for the Cotuit Kettleers. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
