The Harwich Mariners take out the Hyannis Harbor Hawks with help from Happ, 7-2

Ian Happ knocked in three runs as the Harwich Mariners (17-9) took home a 7-2 victory over the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (12-16) at McKeon Park on Saturday.

He homered in the first inning.

Cam Gibson paced the Hyannis Harbor Hawks at the plate. Gibson went 2-4 and scored one run. He singled in the second and seventh innings.

Jake Drossner improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Harwich Mariners. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out five, walked two and surrendered six hits.

Peter Fairbanks couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
