The Bourne Braves (23-11) didn't have a chance on Sunday, as the Falmouth Commodores (20-15) won in blowout fashion, 9-3 at Doran Park.

A three-run home run by Shaun Chase helped the Falmouth Commodores score three runs in the second. The Falmouth Commodores had four hits in the inning.

Chase racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Falmouth Commodores.

The Bourne Braves had no answer for Matt Hollenbeck, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Hollenbeck held the Bourne Braves hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.

Blake Davey racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Bourne Braves. He doubled in the first inning and homered in the third inning.

Ryan Moseley improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Falmouth Commodores. He allowed three runs over five innings. Moseley struck out three, walked one and gave up five hits.

Andrew Sopko (2-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
