Corey Ray went 2-3, helping the Wareham Gatemen (7-14) to a 7-3 victory over the Cotuit Kettleers (9-12) on Saturday at Spillane Field.

Kyle Cody struck out nine, paving the way for a the Wareham Gatemen win. Cody allowed three earned runs, seven hits and two walks over eight innings.

Jake Fincher racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Cotuit Kettleers. He doubled in the third innings and singled in the fifth and eighth innings.

Grayson Jones put together a nice outing. Jones held the Wareham Gatemen hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out two.

Logan James ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked three and struck out four.
