The Chatham Anglers (17-25) and the Brewster Whitecaps (17-24) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Chatham Anglers that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 7-2 win at Veterans Field.

Nick Collins had a hot bat for the Chatham Anglers. Collins went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the fourth, sixth, and eighth innings.

Lou Distasio had an impressive outing against the Brewster Whitecaps' lineup. Distasio held the Brewster Whitecaps hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Mikey White did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Brewster Whitecaps, reaching base three times. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Max Tishman recorded his second win of the year for the Chatham Anglers. He allowed one run over six innings. He struck out four, walked none and surrendered eight hits.

Andrew Lee (2-3) took the loss for the Brewster Whitecaps. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked five, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
