The Falmouth Commodores take out the Hyannis Harbor Hawks with help from Madsen, 4-2

Jake Madsen had two extra base hits, sparking the Falmouth Commodores (9-8) to a 4-2 victory over the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (10-8) on Monday at McKeon Park.

He homered in the second inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

Matt Hall picked up the win for the Falmouth Commodores. Hall pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, six hits and two walks while striking out five.

Daniel Kihle got on base three times in the game for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. He scored one run and had two RBIs. He homered in the first inning.

Alec Byrd pitched lights out for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. Byrd held the Falmouth Commodores hitless over 3 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Tate Scioneaux ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
