David Houser knocked in three runs, helping the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (10-8) to a 6-2 victory over the Bourne Braves (11-7) on Saturday at McKeon Park.
He doubled in the third innings and singled in the fourth inning.Marc Brakeman put together a nice outing. The Bourne Braves managed just three hits off of Brakeman, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his four innings of work.
Harrison Bader was hot from the plate for the Bourne Braves. Bader went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning.
Blake Hickman improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. He allowed two runs over five innings. Hickman struck out four, walked three and gave up five hits.
Travis Bergen (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
