Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Wednesday as the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (5-9) outscored the Wareham Gatemen (4-10) 9-8 in 10 innings.

The teams totaled 30 hits in the game.

Jordan Tarsovich had a hot bat for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. Tarsovich went 4-6, drove in one and scored three runs. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the first, seventh, and ninth innings.

Josh Pierce recorded his first win of the year for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered three hits.

Anthony Kay (1-1) took the loss for the Wareham Gatemen. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
