The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (5-9) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 3-1 to the Bourne Braves (10-4) on Sunday.

The Bourne Braves couldn't get anything going as long as Bryan Bonnell was pitching. Bonnell gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out three during his three innings of work.

Phil Bickford was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
