The Hyannis Harbor Hawks (8-4) and the Orleans Firebirds (5-7) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Hyannis Harbor Hawks that eventually took advantage of them in a 5-4 win at McKeon Park.

Donnie Dewees Jr. was hot from the plate for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. Dewees Jr. went 2-3 and drove in one. He doubled in the first innings and singled in the third inning.

Timmy Robinson racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Orleans Firebirds. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Ian Gibaut got the win, running his season record to 1-0. Gibaut struck out one, walked none and gave up no hits.

Reilly Hovis (0-1) took the loss for the Orleans Firebirds. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.
