Jake Fraley was cold coming off the bench, but Fraley warmed up quickly as Fraley stroked a key pinch-hit single in the three to lead the Chatham Anglers (3-5) to a 6-2 win over the Brewster Whitecaps (5-4) on Tuesday at Veterans Field.
With the Chatham Anglers trailing by one, Fraley came to the plate and singled.

Andrew Chin improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Chatham Anglers. He allowed two runs over six innings. Chin struck out four, walked two and gave up six hits.
Cody Ponce ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
