Brennon Lund went 2-2 as the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (2-4) took home a 3-1 victory over the Wareham Gatemen (1-5) in seven innings at Red Wilson Field on Sunday.

Josh Staumont had an impressive outing against the Wareham Gatemen's lineup. The Wareham Gatemen managed just two hits off of Staumont, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out three during his five innings of work.

Kyle Cody was effective even in defeat, mowing down six the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox batters and allowing one run.

Cody ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year.
