Travis Maezes went 4-4 at the plate as the Brewster Whitecaps (1-0) took home a 7-3 victory over the Falmouth Commodores (0-1) at Stony Brook on Wednesday.

Andrew Naderer had an impressive outing against the Falmouth Commodores' lineup. The Falmouth Commodores managed just one hit off of Naderer, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his three innings of work.

Ryan McCormick improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Brewster Whitecaps. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Brad Labozzetta couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Falmouth Commodores, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
