An outstanding effort by Sam Nepiarsky carried the Nashua Silver Knights (16-15) to a 6-2 win over the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (10-21) on Friday at The Ball Park.

Nepiarsky struck out nine, paving the way for a the Nashua Silver Knights win. The Nashua Silver Knights' pitcher gave up just five hits over eight shutout innings.

Michael Pierson racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Nashua Silver Knights. He tripled in the fifth inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Lincoln Sanborn couldn't get it done on the hill for the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out five, and allowed three runs.
