The bats were busy at Holman Stadium on Friday, and when the dust cleared the Nashua Silver Knights (2-3) had a 12-9 win over the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (3-2).

Matt Mottola racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Nashua Silver Knights. He tripled in the sixth inning and doubled in the seventh inning.
Will Toffey had a hot bat for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. Toffey went 3-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth and ninth innings.
Lucas Olen recorded his first win of the year for the Nashua Silver Knights. He allowed two runs over one inning. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered two hits.
Patrick Nicholson couldn't get it done on the bump for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in two innings, walked one and struck out one.
