A walk-off single from Dalton Johnson brought home the winning run for the Columbia Basin (24-12) in a 7-6 victory over the Big Bend (20-17) in 12 innings at Columbia Basin Baseball Field on Wednesday.
Johnson got on base three times in the game for the Columbia Basin. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the seventh and twelfth innings.
Kenton Brunson racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Columbia Basin. He tripled in the seventh inning.
Stetson Plew got the win, running his season record to 2-2. He allowed four runs over seven innings. Plew struck out two, walked three and gave up six hits.
Ryan Ferguson (2-1) took the loss for the Big Bend. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
