Offenses dominate as the Nevada Big Horns outscore the West Coast Kings 9-8

Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the Nevada Big Horns (11-37) outscored the West Coast Kings 9-8.

The two teams combined for 28 hits in the game.

Richard Kerr racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Nevada Big Horns. He tripled in the second inning and singled in the sixth and eighth innings.

Hard led the West Coast Kings' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Zach Cortese got the win, running his season record to 1-0. Cortese struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.

Alley ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
