The Sacramento Heat (7-11) took home an 8-1 victory over the Atwater Aviators (8-13) on Saturday at Fireman_apos;s Memorial Ballpar, fueled by four runs in the eighth inning.

The Sacramento Heat scored in the eighth on a wild pitch, a two-run triple by Justin Beatty, and a sacrifice fly by Lorenzo Arcuri.

The Atwater Aviators jumped out to an early lead, but they were unable to hang on. The Atwater Aviators were up until the fourth inning, but the Sacramento Heat had other plans for the final outcome, taking the lead back on a two-run single by Beatty.

Connor Briare struck out six hitters en route to the the Sacramento Heat win. Briare allowed one earned run on four hits and two walks over five innings.

Nathan OLeary couldn't get it done on the mound for the Atwater Aviators, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed two runs.
