Friday was a great day for Kyle Treadway, as Treadway tossed a shutout to carry the Atwater Aviators (7-9) to a 4-0 victory over the Sacramento Heat (5-9) at Fireman's Memorial Ballpark.
Treadway held the Sacramento Heat scoreless during his nine innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on four hits while striking out eight.
Kert Woods paced the Atwater Aviators at the plate. Woods went 1-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the eighth inning.
Despite the loss, the Sacramento Heat's Julian Barron dominated the Atwater Aviators' batters, giving up three runs and striking out five.
