Ridge Hoopii-Haslam was cold coming off the bench, but Hoopii-Haslam warmed up quickly as Hoopii-Haslam stroked a key pinch-hit single in the four to lead the Top Speed Baseball (14-1) to a 6-3 win over the Medford Rogues on Thursday at Harry and David Field.
With the Top Speed Baseball leading by two in the fourth inning, Hoopii-Haslam came to the plate and singled.
Scott Mitchell racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Top Speed Baseball. He homered in the second inning, doubled in the fourth inning, and singled in the eighth inning.
Ryan Eddy picked up the win for the Top Speed Baseball. Eddy pitched seven innings and allowed three earned runs, five hits and two walks while striking out five.
Erickson took the loss for the Medford Rogues. He allowed six runs in nine innings, walked four and struck out seven.
