The Edmonds (21-3) jumped out to an early lead on the Douglas (6-11) and captured a 10-1 victory on Saturday at Triton Field .
With nine runs in the first three innings, the Edmonds left no doubt about the eventual outcome.
An RBI single by TC Florentine and an RBI triple by Ryan Budnick in the first inning and a two-run single by Kyle Olson during the second inning fueled the Edmonds' offense early.The Edmonds were led by a flawless day at the dish by Olson, who went 2-2 against the Douglas' pitching.
Andrew Kemmerer picked up the win for the Edmonds. Kemmerer allowed one earned run, five hits and no walks while striking out five over six innings of work.
Quinn Allen (2-1) took the loss for the Douglas. He allowed seven runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out one.
