White's three-run blast propels the Windy City ThunderBolts past the Schaumburg Boomers, 5-4

The Windy City ThunderBolts (32-60)'s three first-inning runs built an early lead that helped bring home a 5-4 win over the Schaumburg Boomers (58-35) on Sunday at Standard Bank Stadium.

A three-run home run by Max White delivered the runs in the first. The Windy City ThunderBolts had four hits in the inning.

White racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Windy City ThunderBolts.

The Schaumburg Boomers were led by Tony Delmonico's hitting. Delmonico went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Eli Anderson recorded his second win of the year for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He allowed four runs over 7 2/3 innings. Anderson struck out four, walked one and gave up nine hits.

Seth Webster (7-5) took the loss for the Schaumburg Boomers. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
