It took 10 innings, but the Gateway Grizzlies (48-41) managed to put away the Frontier Greys (29-59) 5-4 on Wednesday at GCS Ballpark.

With the score tied at four in the tenth inning, Tommy Richards came to the plate and singled, plating Madison Beaird.

Beaird reached base four times in the game for the Gateway Grizzlies. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the first and sixth innings.

Joe Rapp racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Frontier Greys. He homered in the first inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Dejai Oliver got the win, running his season record to 3-4. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Jarret Leverett (0-5) took the loss for the Frontier Greys. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed one run.
