The Evansville Otters outdone by Hur and the Rockford Aviators, 4-2

Michael Hur drove in three runs, helping the Rockford Aviators (36-51) to a 4-2 victory over the Evansville Otters (50-34) on Sunday at Aviator Stadium.

He homered in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Kyle Brueggemann racked up six strikeouts in the the Rockford Aviators win. Brueggemann allowed one earned run on five hits and one walk over five innings.

The Evansville Otters were led by a flawless day at the dish by Chris Elder, who went 2-2 against the Rockford Aviators' pitching. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Edgar Lopez put together a nice outing. The Rockford Aviators managed just two hits off of Lopez, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his three innings of work.

Cody Boutte ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
