Landon Hernandez did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Gateway Grizzlies, reaching base two times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the second inning.
Luke Westphal brought the heat against the Washington Wild Things during his outing. Westphal held the Washington Wild Things hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
Tucker Jensen was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
