Kyle Brady kept the Washington Wild Things (49-34) off the board during his six innings of work and the River City Rascals (52-32) beat the Washington Wild Things, 3-1.

Brady allowed two hits, one walk and struck out five.

Joe Staley did his best to jumpstart the offense for the River City Rascals, reaching base four times. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the seventh innings.

Scott Dunn (7-4) took the loss for the Washington Wild Things. He lasted just 6 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
