The Normal CornBelters (41-39) needed 13 innings on Sunday to take down the Rockford Aviators (32-49) 9-4 at Aviator Stadium.

With the score tied at four, Patrick McKenna came to the plate and homered.

McKenna put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Normal CornBelters. He doubled in the first inning, homered in the thirteenth inning, and singled in the seventh and thirteenth innings.

Edgar Corcino racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Rockford Aviators. He singled in the third, eighth, and ninth innings.

Jason Postill improved to 6-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Normal CornBelters. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered no hits.

Michael Ormseth (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
