The Joliet Slammers (31-50) needed 10 innings on Sunday to take down the Florence Freedom (34-45) 3-2 at UC Health Stadium.

With the score tied at two in the tenth inning,, bringing home Adam Lewis.

Matt Weaver racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Joliet Slammers. He homered in the first inning.

David Kubiak put together a nice outing. The Florence Freedom managed just two hits off of Kubiak, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his three innings of work.

Ed Kohout (2-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
