Anderson Hidalgo collected three hits, sparking the Lake Erie Crushers (46-33) to a 6-3 victory over the Traverse City Beach Bums (32-48) on Saturday at Wuerfel Park.

Brandon Smith pitched lights out for the Lake Erie Crushers. Smith held the Traverse City Beach Bums hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Kevin Taylor reached base four times. He singled in the ninth inning.

Zach Gordon got the win, running his season record to 3-3. He allowed three runs over five innings. Gordon struck out three, walked four and gave up two hits.

Casey Delgado couldn't get it done on the mound for the Traverse City Beach Bums, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked one and struck out eight.
