A four-run eighth inning sealed a 10-4 win for the Evansville Otters (57-37) over the River City Rascals (61-35) on Saturday at Bosse Field.

The Evansville Otters scored in the eighth on , an RBI single by Nik Balog, , and a sacrifice fly by Kolin Conner.

John Schultz paced the Evansville Otters at the plate. Schultz went 3-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the third and fourth innings and tripled in the sixth inning.

Preston Olson's 11 strikeouts were enough to push the Evansville Otters past the River City Rascals. Olson allowed four earned runs on five hits and two walks over 6 2/3 innings.

Jon Myers racked up two RBIs on one hit for the River City Rascals. He homered in the fourth inning.

Joe Cuda (2-2) took the loss for the River City Rascals. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
